Cartoons by Max and David Fleischer

Gulliver’s Travels
--(Color 1939) FEATURE LENGTH CARTOON!!! A beautiful movie but suprisingly little known since this culture KISSES DISNEY’S CRYOGENIC ASS! I can think of any number of reasons why I like Fleischer’s animation way more than Disney stuff. This movie has simply gotta be experienced. It has a judicious use of Rotoscoping (a technique the evil Ralph Bashki claimed he invented for his pathetic “Lord of the Rings” attempt). If little things like how a lantern or reflecting water is animated makes you excited this film will make you swoon. It’s also funny and has some great music. IMDb doesn’t appreciate this one the way I do (they like it but call it “not quite disney”) but here’s the link anyway:
